All Expense Paid Boasting Trip

Not content to boast about election fraud on his own dime, Governor Schweitzer had the state of Montana pay for his trip to Philadelphia this July. He couldn’t have been completely in jest then when he bragged about his ability to turn a few dials.

Junior Senator Jon Tester has been strangely quiet about the whole drama. An honest man who won his seat legitimately should want the truth uncovered. He’d not be content to let the allegations fester, especially when they came about when one of his own admitted to illegal activities in a room full of people. Jon Tester’s silence, Mike McGrath’s refusal, and Governor Schweitzer’s dismissal all seem like the desperate actions of a guilty party.  I would think that long term they would want their names cleared… Perhaps their eagerness to sweep it under the rug stems not from politics but rather from a knowledge of guilt?  Looking at Governor Schweitzer’s past, it’s the liklier scenario.
