Whats up with that… Governor Schweitzer is taking down damning information on Wikipedia? Even though the information that was placed in the Wiki was a speech that Schweitzer gave to the Trial Lawyers association. It is the same thing that the media covered in 2006 and the same type of shenanigans that the hardcore left bloggers complained about in former Senator Burns race against Tester?
The issue is clear, do readers have the right to see both sides of a politician or should the poliwikites have the ability to distort the politician by only showing one side…the positive side? There should be outrage on both sides.
The interesting issue on this point is that the poliwikites are from the Governors own camp and better yet they are using state resources to boot. You can also look at the Wiki site history to find the IP address that starts with 161.
This is a typical pattern with this current Governor of Montana, does anyone remember Walt Schweitzer? Or how about this article from the Missoula Independent on Walt Schweitzer. Hit the link and check it out for yourself.
